I am a Clinical Psychologist and a Cognitive Behavioral Psychotherapist.
I graduated from the University of Turin, first in "Neuropsychological Sciences and Techniques" with a discussion about the genetic component of anxiety, and then I continued with a master's degree in "Mind’s Sciences".
I have always been attracted to the neuroscientific aspects of human behavior.
During my training, I did several internships in various fields. During the university period, first in the Psychology Department in research field, then at the Molinette Hospital in clinical hospital psychology at the Department of Neuroscience, Neurology Headaches Center.
Once back in Aosta, I continued in clinical hospital psychology at the Bariatric Surgery Center at the Aosta Hospital U. Parini. Here, I started to get interested in the world of eating disorders. Actually, during my psychotherapy school, I did my 4 years internship at the Center for Eating Disorders in Aosta. Meanwhile, I spent a summer in London where I studied Mindfulness Based Eating Awareness Training (MBEAT).
I have studied techniques and approaches that I use in my clinical practice such as Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focused Therapy and Schema Therapy.
My areas of specialization include eating disorders, anxiety disorders, depression, mental health and wellbeing.
I currently work as a freelancer in my private studio, but I also offer the possibility of home visits.
For some years now, I am an assistant professor in Psychology of Addictions and Psychology of Deviance and Criminology at the University of Valle d'Aosta for Professor Mauro Croce.
I am also passionate about yoga, in particular Ashtanga Yoga, a discipline that attracts me a lot for its ability to highlight the connection between mind and body. For this reason, I have been teaching and studying this practice with my teacher Manju Jois for some years now.
I also practice aerial acrobatics, a circus discipline.
I am a member of AIAMC (Italian Association of Behavioral Analysis and Modification and Cognitive and Behavioral Therapy) and of The Center of Mindful Eating (TCME).
